A fiber cut effecting multiple providers in the Los Angeles area has been identified, this is resulting in higher than normal latency and packet loss across Cogent and Comcast links to our Los Angeles datacenter.

Splicing technicians have now completed work. Connectivity has returned to normal and packet loss has subsided.
